Tamarix tetrandra 3L
The graceful, arching stems of this deciduous shrub bear attractive feathery foliage, and are lined with masses of tiny, pale pink flowers in Spring. Particularly useful in the shrub border on light, sandy soils. In warm but exposed areas it can be used as a hedge or windbreak. Grow in well-drained soil in sun. Height & Spread - 2.4m+ (8ft+) in 10 years.
Taxus baccata 'Standishii' (F) 3L
A female variety. The best of its colour and habit, but slow in growth. It is of dense, columnar habit with erect, tightly packed branches and radially arranged, golden yellow leaves. Will grow in sun or part-shade in most well-drained soils. Height after 10 years - 1.2m (4ft). N.B.-Toxic when eaten.
Tayberry (Rubus) 'Buckingham' 3L
A Blackberry -Raspberry cross. Has been eagerly awaited for many years as it is a thorn -free version of the old favourite. The fruit is excellent for dessert and freezes well and the refreshing rich, aromatic flavour is superb. Space 2.4 m (8 ft) apart. Grow in sun or light shade in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Picking time - Early July.
