A.k.a.- Phyllitis scolopendrium. 'Hart's tongue Fern'. This hardy evergreen fern is very attractive and recognisable. The fronds are straight with a slight 'frill' at the edges. In sunnier and drier sites the fronds will be smaller and paler. Grow in partial or full shade in deep, fertile humus-rich soil. Height - 25-35 cm (10-14 in).
