Royal Crown' is a compact, rounded shrub to about 75cm with smooth, bright green, oval leaves. Small clusters of trumpet-shaped, scented, butter-yellow flowers appear in late spring and early summer followed by bright red berries.

A lovely colour varieaion with stunning young shoots that are variegated with pink and red. Leaves turning to a green and cream variegation through maturity.
