Carex elata 'Aurea' 2L
'Bowles Golden Sedge'. A stunning, evergreen grass which forms compact tufts of arching, narrow-bladed, bright yellow leaves with fine green variegation. Produces dark brown 'flowers' which contrast beautifully with the vibrant foliage between June and July. Grow in a sunny position in moist but well-drained soils. Height - 50-100cm (20-40in). Spread - 20-50cm (8-20in).

Densely tufted, clump-forming perennial evergreen grass with arching mid-green leaves, and tall stems of silky, silvery yellow plumes from August to September. 'Japanese Silver Grass'. Forms a tight clump of very attractive grassy, light green blades with silver-white stripes down the centres. Showy, purple/brown inflorescences. The foliage remains attractive during the Winter, fading to a straw colour. Cut back to 10cm (4in) in late Winter. Best in full sun in a well-drained soil. Height - 1.2-1.5m (4-5ft). Spread - .90-1.2m (3-4ft).

Lilyturf'. A clump-forming perennial/grass with narrow, evergreen, curving, almost black leaves. Clusters of pale purplish white flowers from July to August followed by dark blue-black fruit from August. Height - 20cm (8 in); Spread - 30cm (12in). Will grow in moist but well-drained soil in sun or part-shade.
