HERB Lavender - 'Grosso' 9cm
A very hardy hybrid lavender, much grown comercially in France for oil. Bears many large spikes of heavily scented violet flowers which are excellent for drying. The foliage is silver-grey. Add flowers to soups, stews and salads. Grow in well-drained, fairly fertile soil, in full sun. Height - 90cm (3 ft).

A tall aromatic herb with dark green leaves and umbels of greenish yellow flowers from July to August. Adds flavour to vegetable soups, casseroles and meat broths. Forms a branched sub-shrub. The leaves have a pineapple fragrance. Attractive red flowers from late Summer to early Autumn.
