The natural diet of many birds includes insects, particularly Blackbirds, Robins and Thrushes. The protein they derive from this is essential to maintain their bodies in fully working order. Therefore, supplementing with dried mealworms can make a real difference. Mealworms provide exactly the right type of insect protein birds need to repair and maintain their muscle mass. They should be fed all year round, but particularly in winter when the cold weather kills off most insect life. In Spring, try soaking them in warm water for 20-30 minutes, as this will make them softer for fledglings to eat.Local Delivery
We offer a delivery service which covers our local towns of Wellington and Taunton and the surrounding villages. You can check our delivery page where our map shows our delivery area and the postcodes where we deliver. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery. When you have placed your order for local home delivery you will receive a confirmation email regarding your order. There is a small charge for delivery but if you spend over £50 through our online shop then local home delivery will be free. Please note that we do not offer nationwide delivery at the moment.
