Hydrotherapy is a non impact, non weight bearing exercise which includes swimming massage and gentle stretching allowing recovery to start much earlier following surgery or injury..

 

H2O Canine Therapy is run by Amy Loveless who is qualified and registered with the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists

 

 

 

Conditions treated with Hydrotherapy

  •          Arthritis
  •          Hip dysplasia
  •          Cruciate ligament rupture - either conservative management or post operative recovery
  •          Patella luxation
  •          Elbow dysplasia
  •          Degenerative myelopathy (formerly known as CDRM)
  •          Spinal injuries including recovery from fractures and IV disc rupture (commonly known as a slipped disc)
  •          Spondylosis - spinal arthritis
  •          Mobility problems related to age
  •          Obesity control

 

Teach your dog to learn to swim in a controlled safe and fun environment, we will help them develop skills needed should they have access to water elsewhere at any stage during their life.  We offer swimming lessons for dogs of all different ages and sizes.

All dogs will wear a buoyancy aid and a qualified hydrotherapist will be in the water at all times.
